What's the best digital camera, and what's the best digital camera for the money?

Question by Darcey: What's the best digital camera, and what's the best digital camera for the money?
I was thinking of just buying an USB cord for my Samsung C414 flip phone and transferring pictures to my computer. Are digital camera pictures better than cell phone pictures? If digital camera pictures are far better then I should get a digital camera. What's the best digital camera, or what's the best digital camera for the money? Thank you for answering.

Photos from digital cameras by far out perform photos from cell phones. Heck both of my DSLR which are about 6 and 8 years old would blow out photos from cell phones. Because DSLR has bigger sensor, larger optics and more to choose from, more accessories.

First you need to set a budget on what type of digital camera that you're going after.
What one of the best cameras and money is no object try spending nearly $ 43,000 on a Hasselblad Medium Format Camera.

What is the best digital camera for my money?

Question by ~~LaLaLa~~~: What is the best digital camera for my money?
I'm looking at spending no more than $ 300 for a digital camera. I don't want anything professional. But I am intending on it lasting for quite a while. I've been looking pretty hardcore at the sony cybershot but I was wondering what other, more camera savvy people had and their opinions.

Kodak V1003 is awesome! its about $ 200 and then a sim card is about $ 20-$ 40! It has different effects sepia, black & white...etc. Ans it has 8mp Its very easy to control. The buttons are very nice and the quality of the pictures is great!
