I am really interested in photography and I am thinking about giving it a shot, but at this point I know nothing about digital cameras. I have a digital camera right now, but i want to upgrade. It doesnt have sound when you listen to videos, you have to change the battery every day if you use it for a long time, and its really slow when you take pictures. I want something in pink or purple. It has to have a good battery life, and be able to record videos. Price doesnt matter. Thanks!!

I am looking for a digital camera in the $ 300 or less range that has a faster shutter speed. I take lots of pictures for my animal rescue group and have a terrible time with the lag on my Sony Cyber Shot camera. I hit the button, but by the time the picture is taken, the animal has moved. Any suggestions?

Honestly as I have found out, any recent digital camera has a decent shutter time as long as the lighting is good. By pressing the shutter button half way, getting your subject in focus before you try to take the picture helps alot. Press the rest of the way, and it should capture it pretty quickly without lag. Other than that, fast cameras as a dslr would cost a bit more than $ 300 unless you were to find used on craigslist.

Photos from digital cameras by far out perform photos from cell phones. Heck both of my DSLR which are about 6 and 8 years old would blow out photos from cell phones. Because DSLR has bigger sensor, larger optics and more to choose from, more accessories.

First you need to set a budget on what type of digital camera that you're going after.
What one of the best cameras and money is no object try spending nearly $ 43,000 on a Hasselblad Medium Format Camera.
