  1. thank you for your response!
now the problem is that i do both of them :/
i saw videos with the samsung st600 in both kinds of vlogs and it was great, but i just heard that this one is newer and has more functions, so i thought it will be as good or even better than the st600

  2. I have no hands-on knowledge of the ST600 so I can only speak for the PL120. I've used this camera for some vlogs back when I had a channel doing that. It works very well for on-the-go style vlogs. If you're a sit down in front of the camera kind of vlogger, I'd recommend something else, but if you like to walk around and do things on your videos, this will work fine.

  3. Turn down the quality and you will free up tons of space. I had a 2GB card and on the medium settings it held about 30min of video.

  6. I personally use smart auto, but I don't really use it for pictures as much as I do my Nikon. All the settings work for their individual specialty but I never bothered to learn them.

  7. is it better to set it to smart auto, or do i have to choose a certain mode for each shot?

  8. @jwl1976 Unfortunately it does not. It is something I'd have liked to see but is lacking.

  9. Hi,

Does this camera have a light for video?

  10. I have this camera in my EDC work bag just for time when I need an actual camera instead of my phone. picture quality is great, recycle time usually suck. I find myself frustrated with "processing" notification all the time between shots. Video files are also disappointing just because 5 minute video (AVI) takes up about 1GB, on my Sony Bloggie PM5, same length file (MP4, 720p at 60FPS) is only 250MB! that's a huge difference for roughly same quality

  11. @beckaox It is decently quick but there is definitely lag. If you're used to the quick shutter of a, let's say, Nikon D60... Then yeah, it is very slow.

  12. Does it take fast instant pictures? Or is there that terrible 10 second freeze you have to do?

  13. Can someone please help me use the miniature effect? ...I keep trying but it doesn't look quite right..

Okay thank you, Which is the lastest model - its okay if you dont know. im just looking for a new camera and i am looking to buy the PL121 but i wanted to look at the reviews and it seems good but a lot comes up on the PL120 and just wondering about it (if that makes sense) thanks

  15. @allwonderfulthings Honestly, I have no idea. I've never used the PL121 and I couldn't find anything major online. They use the same user manual according to the one in my box. Other than that, no clue.

  16. hi, this might sound stupid but whats the difference between the PL120 and the PL121?
    thanks

  17. @windowsxpkid123 There is some internal memory but it is so ludicrously that it would only be useful for 1-5 quality test pictures. So yes, but not worth using.

  18. poor on some features.... on jump shot mode, set up is fixed and the flash is off. you can't use it on night time....rate 3/5....

  19. Do you have to use a micro sd card with it or can you take some photos without the sd card in the camera ?

  20. Also megapixels means nothing unless it is true megapixels - and NOT software interpolated - and if the sensor is crap - even "true megapixels" doesn't mean much.

  22. @terryleecanada I have no experience with the ST67 so I can't give a fair judgement.

  23. Other than dual view, between PL120 and ST67 (or ST65) which one would you recommend. Cheers.
