Which brand of digital camera has the best battery life?

Question by Michele: Which brand of digital camera has the best battery life?
I have an older digital camera thats always dying and it uses AA batterys. (its pretty old). I want to buy a new one but I am not sure on which nrand to go with?

    I have been absolutely amazed at how long my battery lasts in
    my casio EX-Z1050. I go months without recharge. Take hundreds of pictures. Great pictures too.

    If you want outstanding battery life maybe try putting two batteries in your case. Then when one runs out just swap it. Even if a camera had really good battery life it probably wouldn't be much better than yours. Also a particular brand doesn't mean anything. One model could be really good of one brand and then another reliable brand one of their cameras could be really bad. You can't go by brand. Try looking at Consumer Reports and it might have ratings for battery life. Good luck.

    I've been very favorably impressed with Canon fixed-lens cameras, and their battery life is usually better than similar models from other manufacturers.
    In general, cameras that use rechargeable NiMH AA batteries will have longer battery life, especially those that take four AAs.

    nikon coolpix :) has rechargable battery (not AA) and once charged it last a very long time...check it out
