    Sorry, it was a typo, I have a Canon Powershot SX20...still can't find anywhere to enable this camera to be used as a webcam/remote viewing camera. I need it to be able to be used as a live video feed for a streaming webcast.
    Thanks for noticing the typo and replying. So any ideas on what I can do?

    Your model wont work but that doesnt mean it should shut down when u connect the cable...how do u transfer photos then? something is wrong with either ur pc or cam..

    my canon A2400 IS shuts off as soon as i connect the USB
    which clearly reveals that It wont Work for mE : (
