That's where most people tend to get stuck. I think I will redo the tutorial at some point, and focus more on the last bit. Thanks for letting me know. Also, thanks for watching :D!
First of all I'd like to thank you for actually showing us how to make it also for being so clear with instructions this is by far the best tutorial of this camera thus far. Thanks for sharing
Hey, That proportion will not work. You will either have to use the 14" or the 8.5" length. If you you use the first one you would have to cut it down to 14" by 4.93", or if you use the second length, then it would be 8.5" by 2.99".
Short answer is 2.99 (I think you could use 3). The formula he has on the video is wrong. If you do (6.14 / 10) * 2.16 the result is 1.32 and not 4.25. But the formula is, using his notations, x*z/y or (x/y) * z. How I do it in my head is "If 6.14 is 8.5, 2.16 is x." That means, using the cross multiplication that 6.14 * x = 2.16 * 8.5 which means x = (2.16 * 8.5) / 6.14 so x = 2.99.
Hi!! Great turtorial! Can h please tell me what size for a 8 1/2 x 8 1/2 pleassse i tried to work it out myself but i didnt understand the equation, im in 7th grade so i didnt study that part of math yet :/
At 23:00, notice that the tiny little flap I'm working with is rectangular in shape. My goal was to make it pointed at the tip, so I folded the edge to get the point. Try watching that part a few times.
At 30 - 30:30, there should be an opening where you can insert the top flap into. This part can be tricky, and takes a bit of patience, but you have to slightly force the top part into the opening.
Awe its so cute!!! Love it and you should be a hand model
ReplyDeleteNot at the moment, but I'll make one when I can find a US dollar bill. Thanks for watching Maia :D!
ReplyDeleteDo you have a vid that teaches you how to do it with a normal dollar?
