They save loads of printed paper this way. Paper that most of the people throw away while juggling around with the camera, to learn the features. I found the on-cam instructions quite efficient.
Hey, have you considered "photo SFX art" (do a Google search for it)? On their website you can watch a nice free video demonstrating how you can create outstanding photos. This made it possible for Daniel to create photographs that have a wow-effect whenever you take a look at them. I hope it will work for you also...
OK, I am glad you told me, I now know this camera is not for me, and I am sad about it, I always loved sony camreas since my first cybershot DCP-120 that could take a lot of weather
Hi, have you tried "Photo SFXart Tricks" (just google it)? On their website you can watch a good free video explaining how to shoot fantastic photos. This helped Daniel to take photos which have a jaw-dropping-effect whenever you look at them. I hope it will help you too.
No, my experience raises questions around integrity of unit sealing and ultimately, the build quality. Whilst I appreciate it's not sold as a waterproof product it should be able to tolerate a few seconds of light rainfall without any ill effects. Sony After Sales service didn't want to know and their repair centre couldn't provide damage report.
Great camera but unable to tolerate a few seconds of light rainfall. Happened in error but glad all my other electronic kit isn't that sensitive!. Dial at rear of camera now operates intermittently, Sony won't repair as I exposed to water and camera is not water proof! Ouch!!
The manual is only available for viewing online, so learning where to find and how to use all the great features is a real task. Sony does itself an injustice here because it is a very nice camera and their instructional materials are sad.
