  2. I agree with mechamorafa. The Leica crazy price doesn't justify a compact camera of 2800 USD. This camera is not for professional photographers, is for daddy's rich 'n dumb fucks. Maybe Sony is aiming at Leica's market. For 2800 USD I'd go for a Nikon D800 ...

  4. Are they both full-frame? I don't fucking think so...

  5. Both the Fuji X100 and X100s use APS-C sized crop sensors while the Sony uses a FULL FRAME sensor

  9. You couldn't touch the lens alone for less than $1200. $1600 for a full frame camera body that is half the size of a DSLR and shoots noise free at ungodly high ISO? Yeah that is wow. Maybe you cannot afford it, but its a bargain for those that have the coin and do the kind of work that suits a 35 mm. (you know, the focal length that some of the greatest shots in history have been taken with?)

  11. Even Sony NEX 5 or 6 is better than that X100s toy from Fuji.

  12. Hello there, do you know "photo SFX art" (search on Google for it)? There you can watch a great free video featuring the way to make fantastic pictures. It made it possible for Joe to create photographs that have that jaw-dropping-effect when you take a look at them. I hope it will work for you as well...

  16. i rather buy nex-6. it performs better than nex-7, cheaper, and has more features.

  17. Full frame or not I rather buy the NEX-7 with some additional lens and still find myself under the $2,800 price point. If the RX1 had the ability to swap lens I might understand the price point. But no way, this is not the camera for me. I hate "all in one" solutions.

  18. "this camera is for enthousiast who really enjoys the full frame"
or you can just say for rich people. Because everyone loves full frame images, professionnal, enthousiast or even noobs who don't know anything about photography...
But i'm sure there will be soon more compact full frame like this one and also more affordable i hope
