All Things Mobile- An unboxing and review of the Samsung ST200F digital camera. This digital camera is 16.1 megapixels, records in 720p HD video with the H.2...
Yes you can :) Providing that you have a MicroSD card large enough, You'll probably need a 32 GB at least because typically they are stored as uncompressed files. 720p can be a good compromise between quality and file size though.
Typically I find that the auto settings do a pretty good job. Although if you want to fine tune the images more you can do that pretty easily, although it's hard to tell what you want to do since there's many variables. As for resolution, just keep it at the highest possible resolution, which for this camera happens to be 16.1 Megapixels.
hi ... i have a camera like this one and i have taking some pictures and i put them on my laptop and they are really small can u help me with some settings ... or the some settings for good pictures resolution ... thank you !
Update news, the symptom went away, I went through another charge cycle, and at this time it went across the whole process of charge staying very cool. I don't like that because I could not determine what happened on the previous recharges . The only thing is that I could have plug it to charge with the machine switched "on". Will continue to monitor it.
Thanks AllThingsMobileINC, unfortunately I don't have another battery to try out, only the one that came with the new camera. But I will keep watching this post to see if someone is experiencing the same problem.
Correct, you can always transfer the pictures to the computer and upload, it's not as nice as the upload feature directly from the camera itself but hey it works.
It is normal for any device to get slightly warm when charging. Does the battery have any noticeable bulges? 40-50 degrees is very hot and definitely beyond normal operating temperatures, I'd say try a new battery and see what happens.
continuing my post... Besides that I can say that the battery is holding the charge all right , based on the camera use. Can you comment on what you are observing in yours ?
Hello, I have this camera for about a month and I am experiencing a very warm temperature when charging it's battery, even the entire camera gets very warm since the battery is dissipating that huge amount of heat to the camera body. I don't have a way to measure the temperature, but I could say it is somewhere between 45 - 50 ° C. The red led is showing all right the charging steps, but even like 2 hours after the led goes off, the camera is still very warm.
Hello there, are you familiar with "photo SFX art" (just do a Google search for it...)? There you can watch a smart free video explaining the way to create outstanding photos. This helped Joe to take pictures that have that wow-effect after you look at them. Hopefully it will work for you too.
o ok cool thanks
ReplyDeleteIs it Auto focus or Manual focus?
ReplyDeleteIt lasts a few hours, I forget the exact value but it's in the ballpark of 2-4 hours.
ReplyDeletehow long does the battery last if you are recording videos??
ReplyDeleteYes this will charge over a USB connection. Use a high powered USB port, on desktops they are usually found on the back.
ReplyDeleteAbout charging - will it recharge when connected to the PC/laptop or only from the wall charger?
ReplyDeleteI just got mine and it wont come on I have charged it and everything... fustrated.
